About Perchance
Perchance is a reference site for two jobs: read a token contract before you sign, and compare the exchange or wallet you would use next.
What you can do here
The token checker takes a public contract address on Ethereum, BNB Chain, Base, Arbitrum, Polygon, or Solana. It asks GoPlus, honeypot.is, DexScreener, and RugCheck, then prints one row per question: can it be sold, who can mint, who can freeze, is there a pool, and so on. The band is Low, Medium, High, Critical, or Not enough data. The number next to the band is only a mark on that scale. It is not a probability.
The comparison lists exchanges and wallets. Exchange order follows a published entry fee, with the date the fee page was read. Wallet pages describe the product. Where a price or a fee was not checked, the page does not invent one.
Guides explain the mechanisms behind those rows: fees, custody, rugs, drainers, fake airdrops, address poisoning. They are reference notes. They are not signals to trade.
Who it is for
It is for someone who has a contract address, an exchange signup, or a wallet download in front of them and wants a source instead of a slogan. It is a poor fit if you want a price prediction, a yield leaderboard, or a wallet that holds the coins for you. Perchance does not custody assets and does not connect to your wallet.
How the site makes money
Pages can show Google AdSense ads. Some outbound links are affiliate links, marked with an Affiliate tag. NordVPN and NordPass on the security page are affiliate links through Nord Security. Exchange and wallet buttons use the company’s own site unless an affiliate URL is configured, in which case the button is tagged. If you use an affiliate link, Perchance may earn a commission. That does not add a charge on your side.
Ads and affiliate fees are the business. They are not an input to a score, a sort, or a “best for” line. A company cannot pay to have a flag removed. The editorial policy and the affiliate disclosure spell that out.
How it stays independent
The checker calls public security sources and applies the rules in the methodology. Those rules are the same for every address, except for a published allowlist of canonical stablecoins and wrapped assets, where issuer controls such as a freeze are labelled as context instead of “do not buy.” The allowlist matches the contract address, not the ticker.
Fee order uses the published number. If we did not read a number from a page, it is not in the sort. Corrections are welcome at hello@perchance.gg. There is no support desk and no promised reply time. A correction that cites the venue’s page or the checker’s row is how a stale fact gets fixed.
Who writes it
The byline on guides and profiles says Perchance editorial team. That is deliberate. A person’s name is not configured, and this site will not invent one. When a name is added, the byline changes. It will not change retroactively into a fake expert bio.
Older calculator URLs on this domain redirect to the homepage. The product now is the checker, the comparison, and the guides.
